Hall End, near Ledbury, offers luxury bed and breakfast accommodation in Herefordshire on a 400 acre working farm, whose grand setting meets you when you first enter through the stone pillars.
The farmhouse has been restored and modernised to bring you luxury accommodation whilst retaining its classical Georgian features. Upon entering the hall, you will see a handsome staircase which leads to the wide landings and the bedrooms upstairs.
There are two en suite bedrooms, both spacious and relaxing, the double room with a four poster bed. Guests look out over the pond and the horses and ponies happily grazing. Breakfast, like all the meals, is a wonderful mix of home produce or local fare whenever possible.
After a day exploring the local countryside, have a relaxing swim in the pool before dinner, and, after the wonderful 4 course meal, a quiet stroll in the gardens. The more energetic can enjoy a game of tennis, while the horse- loving guests can make arrangements to bring their own horses and use the arena and cross country course.
About Your Hosts
Hugh and Angela enjoy having guests stay and making new friends. Apart from her interest in good food and providing delicious meals, Angela is also a keen gardener, interested in equestrian, farming and busy developing and designing the garden.
Out and About
Ledbury is an historic market town. The famous Westons cider factory is just 3 miles away, and tours are available. Gloucester, Hereford and Worcester are within easy reach as are Hay-on-Wye, Ludlow and Abergavenny. Nearby are Eastnor Castle, Berrington Hall and the Van Kempen Gardens at Hampton Court Castle.
There is also excellent walking locally on the Marcle Ridge and on the Malvern Hills, or the Black Mountains. Fine wines, antiques and horse riding locally.
